Lisa Mackenzie is an independent policy analyst and a member of policy analysis collective MurrayBlackburnMackenzie. She is a former civil servant in the UK Government where she worked as a communications specialist in a number of Whitehall departments, including the Department for Social Security and Home Office, as well as the Commission for Racial Equality. More recently, she has worked on policy for a penal reform campaign group and a trade union.
Iseult White is an author, computer scientist and psychotherapist. A recent letter signed by Amnesty International – the organisation founded by her grandfather Sean MacBride – to remove the right to “legitimate representation” to people of conscience in Ireland led to her becoming an accidental activist against the Chilling Effect on freedom of expression.
